The Fort

Boys are born this way, I am convinced.

Hoyer has been enjoying making forts in the living room.

Mui Wo Hike

On Sunday Kyle and I started training for our upcoming 15K Hike Race on Lantau Island.
We hiked  a 10k trail from Discovery Bay to Mui Wo.  These hills and mountains are right in our back yard. With the beautiful weather we have been having-we have really been enjoying it!
 All smiles at the beginning!
A different view of Hong Kong!
 Nice well worn trails
 The Discovery Bay Golf course
 Keep on climbing!
Heading down hill to the village of Mui Wo

Scenes from Mui Wo on a Sunday:
Mahjong  Men
 Flower shop
 Typical mail box-
I got one of these for Christmas
and can't wait to incorporate it into our house one day.
It has been a bit of an obsession...learning the correct word in cantonese-several towns and stores-but I finally got one!

Amazing Banyan Trees and other trees popping out of stores and homes...

Our hike took us through beautiful scenery and interesting villages-we even saw 3 snakes! A great day and a wonderful way to spend time together.

Hoyer and Ellie sitting in a tree

Hoyer and his love married over the weekend! It was a precious wedding with music and flowers!
All on their own {with a little help with the tie}.
