Six Years

It has {almost} been 6 years since I said, 'I do' and I still do love my groom very very much. 

An American Thanksgiving in Hong Kong

We are celebrating Thanksgiving on the day {a rarity because it is just a normal day here} with other Americans at the American Club in Hong Kong.   We are going to dinner at 5pm with the kids and we WILL enjoy it.  {right?}

We will celebrate {again} on Saturday with other American friends-making this a very celebrated holiday in our house this year for sure.

Planning vacations and staycations

Kyle and I are celebrating our 6 year anniversary this December and we are having {another} stay cation!  This year we opted for the Four Seasons on Hong Kong Island.  Just one night away and just a few minutes from our apartment-but it will feel worlds away for sure! 

 We are also planning a trip to Vietnam {with kids over Chinese New Year} and we will even travel on an overnight train!

 We plan to go all the way to Sapa- in North Vietnam-it's going to be a really cool trip!

Super Hero Hoyer

Hoyer is way into Super Heroes. His dream came true when HBO was using Super Heroes as a promotion in the plaza this weekend. 

Girls Weekend

While the boys were at the fight in Macau-the girls hit the spa! 

The Banyan Tree lived up to it's reputation and we all had a relaxing time away from the big boys and the little boys...

We are talking hotels people, not plants...The Banyan Tree may be one of the most impressive brands around. I have the privilege of going to the Macau location this weekend. 

The resort itself is fantastic, but this is Hong Kong and we don't only do things fantasticly-we do them spectacularly. My friends, how do you trump the Banyan Tree?

Rewarding

 Hoyer reached his goal of 20 stickers for good behavior and was rewarded with a toy of his choice. He chose a Ben 10 band. 

And in other news, Charlie is rewarded for his ultimate cuteness..... homemade baby food-parsnip, pears and peas.
