Thankful

I am thankful for my family and friends.

I am thankful for my home and that all my needs are met.

I am thankful to have lived abroad and traveled.

I am thankful for the ability to change my mind.

I am thankful for tissue with lotion in it- its amazing!

I am thankful for a successful business. 

I am thankful for good health.

I am thankful for good help. 

I am thankful for little kicks from my baby. 

Thailand Floods

We won't be going to Bangkok for our anniversary in two weeks. Kyle was trying to surprise me with an amazing 5 year celebration, but Mother Nature won't allow it. (The  US Government, HK Government  don't suggest going either...) The floods have been very bad, killing hundreds and leaving Thailand in serious need of aid. We thought one of the best things we could do was to spend money and help with tourism-but we will have to do it after the risk of flooding has gone away. Too much to risk for this family of (soon to be) four.

So instead of staying here....

at the Mandarin Bangkok, 

we are having a staycation right here in Hong Kong. 

We will be staying here, at the brand new Ritz-Carlton.  It is not too shabby either....

It is located in Hong Kong's tallest building on the top floors. 

Views are spectacular and I know our weekend will be too! 

Our Dragon Baby is a Boy!

We are thrilled that our bun in the oven is a little boy. Hoyer is talking more and more each day about his baby brother. Brothers will be a blast! Guess I am outnumbered now! Snips and snails and puppy dog tails.... That's what little boys are made of!

More Disney Fun

This time Hoyer dressed as Woody. It's Christmas time in Hong Kong and Disney is no exception!

LSU Wins!

It wasnt much to watch...but we did all the way in Hong Kong! We watched with friends ( ALL LSU Fans- Kyle was the only die hard Alabama fan...but we had fun despite the Tide's loss. Hoyer dressed in an LSU top ( which is too small now, GG and Pop) and Alabama pants (which will last him through this Fall- Nan and Bubba). Kyle wore his Crimson and I wore Purple and Gold! Hoyer had a blast  with his friends too!

Field Trip

Hoyer took a field trip to the local nursery. The kids learned about the organic veggies and plants. They even got to take home their own vegetable that they planted.

Trick or Treating

Hoyer loved trick or treating this year! He went as Spiderman.
