It was a great year being PTA president at Hoyer's school, but now my time is over! 

We had a great end of the year show with the kids and staff. 

We love the teachers!!

School Daze!

Hoyer started school this week! He is in the equivalent to Pre-K! 

Big boy will stay for lunch M, W, and F!

Macao

Kyle and I headed to Macao for a little birthday celebration/bucket list before babies....

We ate at the famous Fernando's and enjoyed an amazing show- House of Dancing Waters.  The Vegas of Asia did not disappoint!

Rain Rain Go Away

We have been hit by a few typhoons lately....the last being a T8. That means no ferrys or buses and Kyle's office closed for the day. So we made the most of it and played inside. We had a brief (windy)  moment where we could escape outside and run around a bit! 

Date Night with Hoyer

As part of my birthday celebrations, I was treated to a date night with Hoyer! Just the two of us. Hoyer got dressed in his 'best outfit'  and treated me to a night out in DB. We had Thai food and Pina Coladas.

Twin Update

Babies are doing well. One is 1.5 lbs and the other is 2 lbs. The bigger one is measuring above my actual week of pregnancy and the other is measuring one week behind my actual week of pregnancy, but both are good sizes for 25 weeks.  So we just keep trucking along! 

We made our initial goal of 24 weeks. 

Next goal is to get to the 30s. 

Then 34 weeks.

Then anything over that is gravy baby! 

I am scheduled for a November 8th c-section, with the likelihood of that being moved up, but it will not be past that point (38 weeks).

Here are some interesting facts about identical twins: 

• The causes of monozygotic twinning are generally unknown and unidentified. No one really knows why an egg splits; technically it's a malfunction of the normal development process.
• There's no hereditary trait that influences a predisposition to having identical twins. Identical twins do not run in families. Although there are families with a high incidence of identical twins, it is due to chance, coincidence or plain good luck.
• Identical twins represent about a third of all twins. Dizygotic twins are twice as common as monozygotic.
• Birth rate statistics for identical twinning have remained stable over the years, despite the overall increase in twins and multiples since the late 1980's. The odds of having identical twins is about 3 in 1,000, whereas the birthrate for all twins is about 32.2 in 1,000.
• Identical twinning is not generally influenced by fertility-enhancing treatments like drugs or in vitro, although monozygotic twins have been produced in pregnancies that were the result of such treatments.
• Birth rates for identical twins are consistent across populations; it is the same regardless of race, geography or maternal age.
