Christening Gown

Here is Charlie up close in his christening gown. ( The same one Hoyer wore in London)
His great, great, great, grandmother made this dress for her daughter in 1885. It has been worn by Charlie's great, great grandmother, his great grandfather, his great aunt, his mother (me!) and his second cousin as well as brother Hoyer-  pictured to the right.

Charles Gill's Baptism

Charlie was baptized on Saturday at St. John's Cathedral in Hong Kong. GG was here and Father Mark from our sister church in Discovery Bay officiated.  It was a beautiful service and Charlie was perfectly behaved, as was his big brother. We welcome Charlie into the Christen faith and pray that he will lead a long life following Christ's footsteps.  We have amazing friends who celebrated with us and  took these beautiful pictures for us to share.

The Godparents

Charlie skyped with Martin and MK today and asked them an important question!



They said yes. And, although they won't be at the actual baptism, we know they will be there in spirit.


 Godparents  are very important people! They set a good example, pray for their Godchild, speak to them about God and encourage them in their Christian faith.
