Easter Sunday

After Sunrise service on the beach, we headed home and Hoyer found the basket full of goodies that the Easter Bunny left. His basket was in the shape of a fish, the only one I could find on a quick trip into Central, but it worked great and held a ton!
Hoyer got into BB's Confetti eggs right from the start!
Daddy's turn!
A Saxophone!
A guitar! or "Gee-Tar" as Hoyer says....
A real guitar, he loves it, even slept with it that night
Picnic time, we met with our friends and shared our confetti eggs with them too!
Beautiful weather, wonderful friends and family, a picnic, what could be better? Happy Easter.

A screwdriver and lace

What do these things have in common?

They're both in the bottom of my purse today.

My errand list today included having lace sewn to an outfit for Hoyer (he is in a wedding) and fixing his scooter.

Hoyer was unsoothable after his scooter brake gave out and broke off today.

This became an emergency and was moved straight to the top of my list this afternoon.

GG and Pop treated to the scooter and I am sure they left me the receipt, but after turning the house upside down (with a screaming 2 year old at my side) I gave up.

Luckily, I live in DB. The shop where we purchased it was able to print me a new receipt, hand over a new brake and send me on my way. (Apparently the brakes break often so they have them in stock.)

So off to the hardware store I went, it's just next door. I purchased the proper screwdriver and figured out how to replace the broken brake while in the store. The Chinese people thought I was loco. But I wanted any tool at my disposal that may be needed.

It's fixed. And my son will have an antique lace eton suit for a wedding in June. All in a days work.

So there. I am Super mom.
