Sweet Home Alabama

Hoyer and I arrived in Alabama to visit the Benefields. It was a long car ride with lots of stops along the way, an explosive diaper and an unhappy baby. As soon as he gets out of his seat, he is back to being the happy boy we all love. However miserable, it was all worth it! Nan and Grand are enjoying Hoyer so much. Hoyer met his great grandmother, Grano, as well as lots of family and friends at Nan's Sip and See. There was a big blue and white polka dot cake with booties on top, everything was so cute.
Tonight, Hoyer will travel 45 minuets with me to Birmingham to meet all of my friends and their children at my Bible Study group party.
Hoyer and cousin Catherine Israel.
Everyone loves Hoyer!

Hoyer's favorite place.

Hoyer's first tornado warning. Nan made sure he was well taken care of. Lots of pillows and blankets in the bathroom!

Louisiana

Playdate at the Westguards, Hoyer on the sofa, walking with Pop, Hoyer and Elizabeth, my doll are about the same size these days!

Hoyer
had his first trip to the nail salon with GG and me and then a trip to Target. He was very tired at the end of the day!

Likes Target better than the salon!

We also had a play date with Parker and Carter!

Hoyer loves his giraffe that Pleasant sent! He takes it everywhere.
Hoyer and Chumba

Hoyer and I are headed to Tuscaloosa Monday morning at 7am to see Kyle's family. It will be a long drive and I am nervous as to how it will go. I have a feeling I will be making lots of stops to check on Hoyer and feed the hungry boy! Traveling alone is tough and we miss Kyle very much, but we are getting the hang of things. Hoyer is a bit resistant to the car seat, I think he prefers his pram where he can see out and see me. We have a temporary stroller that Aunt Bonnie lent us and it has been a life saver! Thanks to Bonnie for all the wonderful things she lent us to make Hoyer feel at home, especially the swing. I don't know what we would do without that swing.
